There is just something comforting and inviting about a great neon sign. It just begs you to stop whatever you are doing and check out the bar, motel or pizzeria that sits behind the warm glow of the neon beams.

Sadly, many great neon signs are torn down each year to make way for fancy modern signs that don't emit nearly the same joy. Some towns even go as far as to ban the use of neon, choosing instead to create an environment void of personality.

We've chosen to build this site for no other reason but to allow users to share their fondness to great neon signs from all over the country.
